Blue lenses are a great all-round colour for most lighting conditions, it is excellent in filtering out a green/brown background and enables the shooter to better see a black clay and especially an orange, white or pink against a dark background.

Amber lenses are fantastic for reducing glare whilst heightening the definition of clays. It increases the contract between clay and the sky.
